Brief:
The total refurbishment of a fully-occupied but badly neglected block of modern private flats in North Kensington.

Outcome:
The project was undertaken with zero defects or complaints and we formed an excellent relationship with the highly active leaseholders’ association. Following this success, the client and surveying team came to us with subsequent projects – testament to the level of quality we delivered.

How we did it:

The property was in poor condition before we started. The steel finish had deteriorated and rusted, cedar and hardwood frames were weathered, bleached and split, and the surrounding painted surfaces were damaged and unsightly. More worryingly, there were structural defects with the balconies and balustrades.

 

Our long-term site manger took control and, together with our resident liaison officer and trades team, brought the property back into top condition.
